Job description
The HR Business Partner at Saudi Total Petroleum Products is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payroll and benefits administration, defining competitive compensation packages, and supporting recruitment and performance management to drive business growth. The role requires ensuring legal compliance and alignment with company policies. Responsibilities include managing payroll processes and reconciliations, overseeing compensation and benefits programs, supporting performance evaluations and improvement strategies, and collaborating on recruitment and onboarding. The HRBP will also drive organizational development initiatives such as succession planning and change management, utilize HR analytics to optimize processes, and advise on compliant HR policies. Fluency in English and Arabic is required, and experience with Microsoft Office, job evaluation methods, and strong analytical skills is essential.

Key responsibilities
- Check payroll information by directing the collection, calculation, and entering of data
- Update payroll records by reviewing and approving changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job titles, and department/division transfers
- Perform account balance and payroll reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports for accounting, auditing, and management purposes
- Maintain regular contact with head office to ensure affiliate compliance with company rules on capital shares and employee benefits
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking and internal equity
- Conduct regular compensation reviews and provide guidance on salary adjustments, incentives, and benefits
- Monitor market trends and regulatory changes for compliance and competitiveness
- Support performance management process, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback sessions
- Work with managers to address performance issues and develop improvement plans
- Analyze performance data to identify trends and develop engagement initiatives
- Collaborate with managers on staffing needs aligned with business objectives
- Utilize sourcing methods to attract top talent and conduct candidate assessments
- Extend job offers and negotiate terms
- Facilitate smooth onboarding in collaboration with Employee Experience Specialist
- Drive organizational effectiveness initiatives including change and workforce planning
- Utilize HR analytics to assess recruitment, compensation, and performance initiatives
- Ensure HR practices comply with legal requirements and advise on policy development
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or equivalent
- Master’s degree or relevant HR certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM, CIPD) is a plus
- Certified GRP or CBP is a privilege
- 5 years of experience in Human Resources including 2 years in compensation and benefit role
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Knowledge of job analysis and evaluation methods
- Ability to present solutions to managers
