Job description
The Multimedia Designer at Mubadala Investment Company plays a pivotal role in creating visually compelling content for social media and digital platforms, translating complex ideas, leadership thinking, and institutional narratives into clear, engaging, and visually distinctive outputs. The designer operates at the intersection of graphic design, motion graphics, storytelling, and AI-assisted creative workflows, producing static, animated, and video assets that reflect Mubadala's global scale, credibility, and brand identity. Responsibilities include producing high-impact visual assets for campaigns, presentations, and digital-first platforms, supporting creative ideation, leveraging AI tools to enhance creative speed and output quality, maintaining brand consistency, evolving digital visual language, and collaborating with social media managers, copywriters, marketers, and external partners. The role demands managing multiple projects simultaneously, responding constructively to feedback, and ensuring high-quality, precise, and on-brand outputs in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment. The designer contributes to Mubadala's mission of delivering social and financial impact while maintaining a professional standard of creative excellence.

Key responsibilities
- Design and deliver high-impact visual assets across social media, digital platforms, campaigns, and presentations
- Translate brand narratives, data, and thought leadership into visually engaging content
- Support campaign ideation through strong visual thinking and creative execution
- Create static and animated assets aligned with Mubadala’s brand guidelines and tone of voice
- Produce motion graphics and short-form animations for social platforms
- Support basic video editing, cutdowns, overlays, and motion treatments
- Integrate photography, video, illustration, and AI-generated assets into cohesive outputs
- Leverage AI-powered creative tools to enhance speed, experimentation, and output quality
- Collaborate with the team to responsibly integrate AI into creative workflows while maintaining brand integrity
- Ensure visual consistency across all content and adapt assets for different platforms and audiences
- Contribute to the evolution of Mubadala’s digital visual language, templates, and content systems
- Maintain high standards of craft, accuracy, and attention to detail across all outputs
- Work closely with social media managers, copywriters, marketers, and external partners
- Manage multiple projects in parallel while meeting tight timelines
- Respond constructively to feedback and evolving creative direction
Experience & skills
- Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects; Premiere Pro is a plus
- Solid understanding of layout, typography, color, motion, and visual hierarchy
- Experience creating content for social media and digital-first platforms
- Working knowledge of video editing and motion fundamentals
- Fluency or strong familiarity with AI-assisted design tools and workflows
- Strong visual storytelling and conceptual thinking skills
- Ability to simplify complex or abstract ideas into clear visual narratives
- High attention to detail and quality
- Strong time management and ability to perform in fast-paced, high-visibility environments
