Job description
The Analyst I role at FTI Capital Advisors in Dubai supports the origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions across multiple industry sectors including telecommunications, media and technology, power renewables and energy transition, healthcare, industrials, aviation, and aerospace. The role is involved in all stages of transaction execution from origination through closing and provides analytical and execution support within a global boutique investment banking platform backed by FTI Consulting. Responsibilities include constructing detailed financial models, performing valuation analyses using Excel and other financial modeling tools, preparing client-facing materials related to strategic alternatives, M&A, and corporate finance, and conducting in-depth research to gather project-specific information. The role requires synthesizing complex financial and industry data into actionable insights, supporting transaction execution, and contributing to international mandates with significant client exposure within a professional investment banking environment.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support origination and execution of M&A mandates and transactions from origination through closing
- Construct detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses using Excel and financial modeling tools
- Prepare presentation materials and documents for client meetings covering strategic alternatives, M&A, and corporate finance topics
- Conduct industry and company research to gather project-specific information
- Synthesize complex financial and qualitative data into actionable insights for transaction execution
- Assist senior team members in transaction execution and client deliverables across international mandates
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in investment banking, private equity, or corporate finance with a leading firm
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, and/or Engineering
- Strong understanding of corporate finance principles and methodologies
- Exceptional financial modeling, analytical, and advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Arabic language proficiency considered an advantage
