Job description
The Manager of Key Account Management at Nestlé Qatar is responsible for developing and implementing channel and customer strategies in alignment with overall business objectives, ensuring KPIs are met. This role oversees the creation of comprehensive customer/channel plans, leads the key account sales team and third-party merchandising team, and drives the execution of account plans while ensuring excellence in daily business operations. The manager nurtures relationships with cross-functional leaders and customer stakeholders, monitors results, implements corrective actions as needed, and ensures compliance with company policies, trade policies, local sales regulations, safety, and legal requirements. The position demands strong leadership, analytical, and strategic planning skills, with a focus on driving sustainable business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategy and annual plans for assigned channels/customers
- Lead, coach, and develop the Key Account sales team and third-party merchandising team
- Oversee execution of account plans aligned with business objectives and customer strategies
- Facilitate operational excellence in daily business by planning, communicating, measuring results, and implementing corrective actions
- Build and maintain productive relationships with cross-functional leaders and key customer stakeholders
- Ensure achievement of Key Account targets and KPIs
- Adhere to company principles, Nestlé trade policy, local sales policy, trade terms, safety, and legal regulations
- Monitor account performance and provide insights for continuous improvement
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs degree in relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of Key Account Manager experience across different customers
- Proven track record of success in previous key account management roles
- Strong leadership and coaching abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Analytical skills with ability to interpret performance data
- Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans
- Proficiency in managing cross-functional collaboration and execution
