Job description
Maximum sales, maximum profitability, and optimum stock management all fall under one roof in this Store Manager role for Carrefour Riyadh, part of MAF Retail. You ensure supermarket plans get implemented in line with strategies and procedures set by the Head Office and Corporate Office, working in close collaboration with both. Qualitative and quantitative analysis feeds into how commercial performance gets measured and evaluated, with recommendations flowing back on how to increase profitability and sales turnover. Costs stay controlled within budgetary guidelines throughout, since that discipline drives much of the store's bottom line. Stock and sales reports get reviewed and analyzed regularly, with corrective action taken whenever the numbers call for it. Comparative studies between departments run as part of the job too, aimed at improving commercial efficiency across the store. Department Heads coordinate with you on stock value, out of stock situations, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries, keeping the supply chain moving. Store assets need ongoing service and maintenance, and hygiene, safety, and security standards all fall under your oversight. Customer satisfaction and continued business growth sit at the center of everything, tying the operational detail back to the bigger picture.
