Job description
The role sits within Salesforce’s Commercial Business Sales team and focuses on acquiring new customers across the Middle East in a greenfield territory with a defined list of prospect accounts. The Account Executive is responsible for driving accelerated revenue growth, increasing spend across new and existing prospects and building Salesforce’s presence in the local market. Responsibilities include developing and executing account vision and strategy, managing stakeholder relationships, introducing Salesforce offerings, communicating value propositions, generating pipeline, driving territory plans and closing significant cloud software opportunities. The position collaborates closely with Solution Sales teams and Sales Account Executives across other Salesforce Clouds while owning the strategy for Salesforce Core products such as Sales CRM. Candidates must bring at least eight years of referenceable software or SaaS sales experience, proven new business development success, knowledge and contacts within the Middle East region, strong ambition to move into Enterprise Sales and willingness to be coached through Salesforce’s defined career progression. The role requires residing in the UAE, holding a local driving licence, business-level English fluency and the ability to travel internationally. Salesforce provides extensive enablement including product bootcamps, Sandler Sales Training, fast-ramp mentorship and leadership development programs alongside volunteering opportunities through its 1:1:1 model.

Key responsibilities
- Drive sales within the assigned new market territory
- Introduce Salesforce offerings to prospective customers in the assigned territory
- Communicate Salesforce’s value proposition to close new business
- Increase revenue spend across targeted new and existing prospects
- Develop and execute vision, strategy and stakeholder management for each account
- Collaborate with Solution Sales teams and Core Account Executives on cloud opportunities
- Build pipeline through strong business development, territory planning and prospecting
- Close significant cloud software deals to meet growth targets
- Support additional responsibilities where required due to resource constraints
Experience & skills
- Hold a university-level degree or equivalent education
- Bring at least 8 years of successful, referenceable sales experience, preferably in software or SaaS
- Possess knowledge and contacts within the Middle East region
- Currently reside in the UAE and hold a local driving licence
- Be fluent in English at a business level
- Have no restrictions on international travel
- Demonstrate strong new business development skills including territory planning, pipeline generation and closing cloud software opportunities
- Show ambition to progress into the Enterprise Sales team and willingness to learn, be coached and develop along a defined career path
