Job description
In this role you will manage and coordinate all engineering activities during the Execute phase of offshore oil and gas projects at KBR's Abu Dhabi PMC Team, initially based in Abu Dhabi before relocating to the Spain office and then returning to Abu Dhabi. You will ensure project deliverables are completed in line with technical requirements, schedule, cost targets, and client standards, while maintaining effective communication between multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. You will coordinate and oversee multi-disciplinary engineering activities during the execute phase, ensuring all engineering deliverables are aligned with project scope, schedule, and quality requirements. You are responsible for acting as a focal point between engineering disciplines, project management, and contractors, and supporting the Project Manager in achieving overall project objectives. Your responsibilities include monitoring progress and quality of project deliverables across all disciplines including process, piping, structural, electrical, instrumentation, and HSE, and reviewing key engineering documents and technical reports. You will review and coordinate EPC contractor engineering activities and deliverables, ensuring contractors comply with project requirements and quality standards, and participating in technical bid evaluations and vendor assessments. You are responsible for working closely with planning and project controls teams to track engineering progress, identifying project risks, delays, and deviations, and proposing mitigation measures. In this role you will manage interfaces between engineering disciplines and project packages, coordinating with the client (ADNOC Offshore), contractors, and third-party stakeholders. You will identify project risks related to engineering scope and execution, support HAZID and HAZOP reviews, and manage engineering changes assessing their impact on scope, cost, and schedule. You will also ensure engineering activities comply with HSE standards, promoting safe design principles and the ALARP approach.
