Job description
The Science Teacher at GEMS School of Research and Innovation will design and deliver a research-driven, inquiry-based curriculum focused on Biology and Chemistry, supplemented by foundational Physics. The role emphasizes hands-on experimentation, critical thinking, problem-solving, and interdisciplinary learning, leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as robotics, AI, VR/AR, and blockchain to enhance instruction. The teacher will integrate scientific advancements into education, support sustainability initiatives, and engage in university-linked programs and industry placements. The schoolâs high-tech facilities include esports labs, autonomous vehicles, and innovation labs. Educators are expected to contribute to the school's extracurricular activities and community events, maintaining strong relationships with students, colleagues, and parents, while embodying the school's values of academic excellence and holistic development.

Experience & skills
- Hold a BEd or Bachelor's degree with PGCE/PGDE or equivalent
- Masterâs degree or equivalent qualification is preferred
- Experience teaching to KS4/KS5 or equivalent level
- Proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning
- Growth mindset and reflective, solution-focused attitude
- Strong interpersonal skills and willingness to collaborate
