Job description
The Senior Technician is responsible for frontline maintenance of vehicles and market freezers, ensuring operational readiness in alignment with scheduled preventive maintenance and reactive repair plans. Based in Saudi Arabia, this role involves hands-on maintenance execution, continuous monitoring of the planned maintenance system, and implementation of quality standards to minimize breakdowns. The technician supports both proactive and corrective maintenance activities to enhance vehicle efficiency and reduce parts cost. A strong focus on health and safety is required, including the maintenance of clean working environments, compliance with statutory regulations, and active involvement in hazard prevention and incident reporting. The technician is also expected to contribute to performance reviews, continuous improvement initiatives under the SADAFCO Operating System (SOS), and accurate documentation of operational anomalies and maintenance activity.

Key responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance tasks for vehicles and market freezers according to scheduled plans.
- Perform timely and high-quality reactive maintenance to minimize operational disruptions.
- Monitor and improve the planned maintenance system, ensuring progress against set benchmarks.
- Ensure vehicles and freezers are maintained to meet delivery performance and quality standards.
- Participate in section performance reviews and continuous improvement activities.
- Implement cost-effective maintenance practices to reduce vehicle part expenses.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health & safety policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, proactively addressing potential risks.
- Complete detailed maintenance reports and logs, documenting abnormalities during operations.
- Demonstrate safe working practices and reinforce safety culture among team members and contractors.
Experience & skills
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant maintenance experience.
- Understanding of preventive maintenance principles and TPM methodologies.
- Proven experience with root cause analysis and solution implementation.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language knowledge is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of workshop safety standards and procedures.
- Capability to manage documentation and reporting related to maintenance operations.
