Job description

Engineer/Transport Network Provisioning-IP role under the e& NAFIS Program based in Ajman, United Arab Emirates responsible for provisioning, configuring, and managing transport network infrastructure with a focus on DWDM equipment and IP transport networks. The role involves deploying and commissioning DWDM systems, integrating new network links, and ensuring seamless integration into existing transport network infrastructure while maintaining high performance and strict quality standards. The engineer conducts end-to-end network testing to validate functionality, performance, and service readiness. The position provides technical support during network migrations and incident resolution activities to ensure minimal service disruption. Responsibilities include monitoring transport network performance, identifying and resolving network issues, and collaborating with vendors to optimize network operations and leverage external technical expertise. The role also requires maintaining accurate technical documentation aligned with SLA, KPI, and QoS requirements to ensure operational compliance. The position supports telecom infrastructure operations in a customer-centric environment and requires strong technical knowledge in IP transport networks, DWDM systems, telecommunications provisioning, and network troubleshooting. The role is part of UAE national development initiatives through the NAFIS program and supports Emiratization objectives within the telecommunications sector.
