Job description
The Associate Director of Business Development at Jumeirah The Red Sea is responsible for executing and continuously refining sales strategies to achieve annual objectives through defined KPIs. The role involves staying abreast of market trends, competitor analysis, and customer needs to ensure a high level of service delivery and target achievement. This position includes managing sales targets, maintaining occupancy forecasts, and ensuring all sales quotations comply with rate guidelines and response time standards. The candidate must bring strong experience in hospitality sales, with a solid understanding of hotel operations and the multi-market leisure segment. Leadership, commercial acumen, and a results-oriented approach are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent communication skills in English.

Key responsibilities
- Execute and refine sales strategies in alignment with business goals and KPIs
- Stay informed about offerings, market trends, competitor activity, and client needs
- Continuously evaluate market conditions to adapt and innovate the sales approach
- Monitor room inventory and occupancy forecasts to drive performance
- Manage sales reports and ensure team and individual targets are met
- Ensure all client quotations adhere to rate guidelines and 12-hour response standard
Experience & skills
- 3–5 years of proven sales experience in international hospitality
- Strong account management and negotiation capabilities
- Experience in hotel operations and multi-market leisure segments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent English communication and interpersonal abilities
- Demonstrated leadership and ability to perform under pressure
