Job description
Billing operations across assigned Business Units sit under this Assistant Manager role, with direct responsibility for raising invoices on select BUs while supervising a wider team. Accuracy, timeliness and contract compliance run through every part of the job, backed by strong process controls and steady operational continuity. You'll drive standardization, automation and digital initiatives that lift billing efficiency and overall performance. Unbilled revenue over 30 days gets tracked and reduced across the BUs in scope, alongside efforts to keep credit note percentages within target and billing errors down. Billing cycles get monitored against Time to Invoice and SLA targets, with governance maintained over billing master data such as rate cards in Oracle and MS Excel. Contractual changes get tracked closely, with billing conditions updated on time and escalations resolved as the first point of contact for assigned BUs. Weekly and monthly reporting deliverables get prepared and managed, checked for accuracy and alignment with stakeholder requirements. You're expected to bring hands on experience managing billing activities across multiple Business Units, including exposure to team leadership responsibilities. Team management runs through the role too, covering workload allocation, performance reviews, capability development and leave planning to keep operations running without interruption.
