Job description
The Store Manager at Minimalist.ae in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, oversees operations and teams within one of the brandās retail locations, managing high-end luxury products including watches, jewelry, handbags, perfumes, and leather goods. The role is a mix of operational management and direct customer engagement, emphasizing the brandās credo: 'We donāt sell - we forge relationships.' The Store Manager ensures exceptional customer experiences, identifying customer demands in detail to recommend products that best meet their needs. This senior on-site role involves managing the store team, guiding staff in customer engagement, sales execution, and maintaining the storeās luxury ambiance. The Manager tracks sales performance, oversees inventory, manages merchandising, and ensures visual displays align with brand standards. The role also entails mentoring staff, executing sales strategies, monitoring performance-based incentives, and coordinating with head office for growth initiatives, long-term store development, and maintaining high operational standards. Fluency in both English and Arabic is required to communicate effectively with a diverse customer base and team. The role requires prior experience managing retail stores in the UAE, particularly within luxury, watches, or jewelry sectors, and ideally complemented by relevant academic degrees and certifications in management, sales, or project management.

- Oversee daily operations of the store, ensuring all staff adhere to operational standards, achieve sales targets, and maintain brand image while providing exceptional customer service.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the store team to deliver high-quality customer experiences, optimize sales performance, and adhere to luxury retail standards.
- Directly engage with customers to understand their needs, offer product recommendations, and build long-term relationships, demonstrating the brandās philosophy of forging connections rather than just selling products.
- Manage inventory, including stock levels, replenishments, and product displays, ensuring availability of high-demand items and adherence to merchandising standards.
- Implement and monitor sales strategies, track performance metrics, manage performance-based incentives, and adjust strategies to achieve store targets.
- Coordinate visual merchandising and product presentations in alignment with brand guidelines to maintain an attractive and sophisticated retail environment.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety standards, and operational procedures while maintaining a smooth-running store environment.
- Collaborate with head office on store initiatives, growth planning, and long-term development opportunities to contribute to the brandās expanding presence in the UAE.
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing retail stores within the UAE, particularly in luxury retail segments such as watches, jewelry, or similar high-end products.
- Ideally possess an academic degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Relevant certification in sales, management, or project management from accredited providers is preferred.
- Outstanding communication skills in English and Arabic to effectively manage staff and interact with a diverse customer base.
- Strong leadership skills with proven ability to motivate and manage a team in a high-end retail environment.
- Demonstrated expertise in customer relationship management, sales performance tracking, and executing retail strategies in luxury markets.
- Ability to handle multiple operational and administrative tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and high standards of store presentation.
