Job description
Tahaluf, a leader in the Saudi events industry, is seeking a Marketing Manager for a 12-month freelance contract with potential for extension. The role involves driving marketing strategy, managing campaigns, and optimizing digital channels to achieve revenue and attendance objectives. The Marketing Manager will oversee inbound and outbound campaigns, work with agencies on paid media, lead SEO and PPC initiatives, and manage reporting and analytics. The role also requires mentoring junior marketers, delivering impactful campaigns, and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Ownership and accountability for marketing strategy, including planning, implementation, management, and optimisation for inbound and outbound campaigns
- Deliver on strategic KPIs by driving online traffic, leads, and conversions, and presenting results in regular updates
- Understand visitor and exhibitors’ digital behaviour through testing and reporting on channel and campaign performance
- Use Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics and other platforms to identify issues and opportunities
- Benchmark and set new KPI targets to elevate digital campaign performance
- Work with agencies to develop strategy and setup of all paid campaigns
- Measure and optimize paid marketing using dashboards, Google Analytics, and reports
- Identify evolving SEO practices and develop new digital campaigns with stakeholders and agencies
- Develop creative organic search growth strategies across customer lifecycle stages
- Collaborate with content marketing teams to create high-quality content
- Manage and improve organic search engine performance and goal-setting
- Design and implement testing and optimisation strategies including A/B testing, landing pages and CTAs
- Line manage digital marketers to successfully implement campaign strategies
- Provide guidance, feedback, and inspiration to line reports
- Monitor campaign performance through relevant reports
- Recommend changes to campaigns based on data insights
- Identify trends and insights to optimise spend and performance
- Share insights with wider marketing team and senior management
- Plan campaigns to meet strategic objectives – visitor attendance and exhibitor acquisition
- Monitor implementation plans and ensure adherence to deadlines
- Assist with development of marketing budgets and ensure digital budget trackers are updated
- Identify target universe and key segments within it
- Assist with development of personas, value propositions and messaging
- Ensure timely, relevant communications are sent through digital channels and optimised per channel
Experience & skills
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as Marketing Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in digital marketing including PPC, SEO, online advertising
- Experience in database development and growth including segmentation and personalisation
- Experience with Eloqua, Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target
- Analytical and questioning mindset
- Experience in A/B testing for web and email
- Experience in PPC and SEO management
- Proven experience of hitting digital channel KPIs
- Strong copywriting skills
- Experience in CMS platforms (coding knowledge not required)
- Experience with marketing automation technology
- Experience managing social media through Sprout Social or Hootsuite
- Experience with social media listening and sentiment analysis
- Experience with marketing analytics and reporting platforms (Google Analytics/Adobe)
- Proficient in MS Office including advanced PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Fluent in English and Arabic
- Events marketing experience preferred
