Job description
Wipro Limited, a leading technology services and consulting company focused on digital transformation, is hiring an AR Lead L2 (Contract) in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role provides strategic guidance and recommendations on contract pricing for the assigned SBU, ensuring competitive advantage and profit margins. Responsibilities include enforcing Statement of Work (SoW) adherence, deploying pricing strategies across SBU, verticals, or accounts, advising business leaders on contract commercials, collaborating with pre-sales and BU leadership to structure contracts, and reviewing Resources Loading Sheets (RLS) for pricing accuracy. The role also involves ensuring accurate revenue recognition aligned with IFRS standards, providing timely revenue forecasts, validating order booking according to internal guidelines, and managing team performance including training, professional development, and engagement. The AR Lead L2 ensures compliance with internal Wipro guidelines, MSAs, and credit period requirements while driving employee satisfaction, engagement initiatives, and team performance metrics such as attrition, localization, and gender diversity. Mandatory skills include SAP Financial Accounting and Controlling, and the role requires 5–8 years of relevant experience in financial and contract management within consulting or technology services environments.

Key responsibilities
- Review and advise on contract pricing to ensure competitive advantage and profitability while maintaining adherence to SoW and internal guidelines.
- Deploy pricing strategies across SBU, verticals, or accounts, partnering with business leaders to ensure compliance with overall Wipro pricing policies and educating them on internal guidelines.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and BU leadership to review contracts prior to finalization, providing input on structuring, payment milestones, and commercial terms to optimize contractual outcomes.
- Analyze Resource Loading Sheets (RLS) submitted by pre-sales or delivery teams and apply pricing strategy to ensure alignment with effort estimates, resource costs, skill availability, and premium skill considerations.
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition by implementing and monitoring adherence to IFRS standards and internal guidelines, educating finance managers, and providing timely revenue forecasts for the assigned SBU, vertical, cluster, or accounts.
- Validate order booking by enforcing adherence to internal guidelines, reviewing all documentation and approvals before confirming orders in the books of accounts, and addressing any deviations with concerned teams.
- Lead and manage the team by defining expectations, assigning goals, conducting performance reviews, providing feedback, and guiding professional development including knowledge of Wipro pricing operations, revenue recognition, contract terms, and MSAs.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, track satisfaction scores, and implement actions to improve team morale while monitoring team metrics such as attrition, localization, and gender diversity.
Experience & skills
- 5–8 years of experience in financial operations, contract management, or related roles within technology services or consulting.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and SAP Controlling (CO) modules.
- Proven expertise in contract pricing review, pricing strategy deployment, and Statement of Work (SoW) adherence.
- Strong capability in business partnering, providing commercial advice to pre-sales, BU leadership, and finance teams.
- Demonstrated experience in revenue recognition, forecasting, and compliance with IFRS standards.
- Ability to validate order booking processes, ensuring adherence to internal guidelines and managing deviations effectively.
- Experience in team management including goal setting, performance reviews, training, skill-building, and engagement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of internal guidelines for commercial terms, MSAs, payment milestones, and contract structuring to maintain profitability and compliance.
