Job description
The Business Development Manager – Consulting and Advisory Services role supports the Commercial Leader for the MENA region by generating demand, awareness, and new business opportunities across Energy, Environment, Water, and Industrial sector clients. The role combines business development and account management responsibilities, contributing to both new client acquisition and expansion within existing strategic accounts across the UAE, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, and wider Middle East. The position involves proactive consultative selling of Frost & Sullivan’s research, consulting, and advisory services through cold outreach, social selling, networking events, conferences, and targeted campaigns. The role requires deep understanding of regional market dynamics, industry structures, and client business needs to craft impactful value propositions, generate qualified leads, meet quarterly and annual KPIs, and strengthen Frost & Sullivan’s brand presence within the Energy, Industrial, Water, and Environment sectors.

Key responsibilities
- Generate demand and awareness for consulting and advisory services across Energy, Environment, Water, and Industrial sector clients
- Open new client relationships through cold calls, emails, social media, and industry networking events
- Deliver qualified sales leads and opportunities aligned with quarterly and annual KPIs
- Conduct proactive business development initiatives to acquire new clients
- Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing client organizations
- Strengthen Frost & Sullivan brand visibility within defined client organizations and industry sectors
- Develop in-depth understanding of market dynamics, industry structures, and operating models
- Profile prospective clients and translate identified needs into compelling value propositions and proposals
- Report accurate sales activity metrics using SPANCO-aligned sales processes
- Collaborate with consulting and advisory teams to structure high-level client meetings and engagements
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate proven B2B sales or business development experience, preferably in professional services
- Show experience selling consulting, advisory, or research-based services
- Exhibit strong consultative selling skills and understanding of B2B sales processes
- Demonstrate experience working within the Middle East and GCC region
- Show proven ability to generate leads through proactive outbound and relationship-based approaches
- Hold an Engineering, Marketing, or Management degree
- Demonstrate a proven sales track record within Energy, Industrial, Water, or Environment sectors
- Possess bilingual English and Arabic capability, which is advantageous but not mandatory
