Job description
The Key Account Manager at Unitra Mets Group is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with modern trade retail partners, developing and executing sales strategies, and driving revenue growth. This position involves negotiating trade terms, managing promotional campaigns, and ensuring brand visibility. The role supports joint business planning, oversees account performance, and ensures new product launches are effectively supported. As part of Mezzan Holding Co., a major FMCG and healthcare conglomerate in the Middle East, the role offers the opportunity to work with a leading Red Bull distributor and one of the top per capita consumption markets globally.

Key responsibilities
- Cultivating and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers at modern trade retailers
- Developing and executing sales strategies to achieve revenue targets, increase market share, and maximize product visibility within the assigned accounts
- Negotiating trade terms, promotional support, and joint business plans with retail partners, ensuring alignment with company objectives and delivering mutual value
- Planning and executing promotional activities, in-store visibility programs, and other marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness
- Tracking sales performance, analyzing market trends, and identifying areas for improvement or new opportunities within the assigned accounts
- Working closely with internal teams such as trade marketing, marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure seamless execution of strategies and achieve objectives
- Supporting the launch of new products by providing market insights, coordinating promotional activities, and ensuring product availability
- Collaborating with key accounts to develop and execute joint business plans, including setting KPIs, reviewing performance, and identifying areas for growth
- Managing all aspects of assigned modern trade accounts, including profit and loss responsibility, and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in key account management, preferably within the FMCG or consumer goods industry managing Key Accounts
- Proven track record of managing large modern trade accounts and delivering strong sales growth
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Knowledge of ERP/CRM tools is a plus
- Arabic Speaker is a plus
