Job description
ADIB is seeking a Senior Technical Analyst for its Consumer Finance Solutions division in Abu Dhabi. This strategic role acts as a bridge between IT and business stakeholders, supporting digital transformation initiatives and the automation of retail finance operations. The analyst will translate business requirements into efficient technical solutions, with a strong emphasis on Islamic finance processing, retail credit systems, and regulatory compliance. The role demands deep domain knowledge, project execution skills, and technical coordination across vendors and internal teams, making it critical to the success of consumer finance services and innovation.

Key responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions to support digital transformation.
- Automate manual retail finance processes and provide scalable solutions.
- Coordinate with business and vendors to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Support business users and guide vendors in developing technical workflows.
- Apply domain knowledge in Islamic finance, credit underwriting, and finance repayment structures.
- Prepare and review Investment Approval Requests (IARs) and related documentation.
- Manage and support project execution, UAT, and post-go-live activities.
- Oversee system incidents, coordinate vendor support, and implement resolutions.
- Apply SDLC and ITIL standards in delivering high-quality services.
- Manage Retail and Central Operations applications and implement required enhancements.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and application KPIs.
- Conduct regular reviews of technology trends and industry best practices.
- Plan resources, lead team meetings, and foster a collaborative work environment.
Experience & skills
- Strong domain knowledge in consumer and Islamic finance solutions.
- Technical and functional understanding of retail finance systems.
- Minimum 8ā10 years of experience in IT/business analysis or systems implementation.
- Proficiency in credit processes, underwriting, and delinquency systems.
- Strong project management, vendor coordination, and UAT experience.
- Understanding of UAE Central Bank regulations and retail finance risk components.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with ITIL frameworks and SDLC best practices.
