Job description
As Sales Team Lead for Careem Food in Abu Dhabi, you will manage a team responsible for driving new restaurant partnerships across the region. The role focuses on leadership, strategy, and execution of sales objectives, ensuring partner acquisition, onboarding, and long-term growth. You will guide, motivate, and support the sales team, while also working cross-functionally to optimize processes and outcomes. The role requires strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi’s market landscape, experience in high-performing team management, and the ability to leverage data to drive strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities
- Lead, inspire, and manage a team of 8 sales professionals to achieve ambitious sales targets
- Coach, train, and provide ongoing support to foster professional growth of the team
- Support key negotiations and assist team members in closing high-value deals
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies in collaboration with Sales Leadership
- Use data-driven approaches to improve pitches, materials, and deal-closing rates
- Implement and refine processes to enhance team efficiency and performance
- Analyze market trends, demographics, and competitor activity to inform sales strategies
- Work cross-functionally with onboarding, marketing, and operations teams to ensure partner success
- Track team performance metrics and create actionable reports for leadership
- Foster a high-performance culture with a clear vision and unified team objectives
Experience & skills
- 3–5 years of experience managing sales teams with proven direct sales success
- Experience in transforming teams through strategy, coaching, and performance management
- Ability to build a high-performance culture and foster team alignment
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel and CRM platforms like Salesforce
- Strong reporting skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights
- Familiarity with Abu Dhabi’s geographic and demographic landscape
- Prior experience in food delivery, tech, or similar sales environments is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in Arabic and English (mandatory)
