The Capabilities & Insights Analyst (Tourism) role based in Doha operates within a management consulting environment, supporting high-impact strategic engagements across the tourism, travel, and hospitality sectors in the Middle East and international markets. The position involves working closely with consulting teams and directly with clients to address complex challenges through industry analysis, market analysis, and data-driven insights. The role focuses on developing structured analyses, tracking regional and global market developments, and generating insights that inform client decision-making processes. The analyst contributes to building and enhancing proprietary knowledge assets, regional datasets, benchmarking tools, and rapid diagnostic tools tailored to Middle East markets. Responsibilities include translating research findings into actionable insights, supporting strategy and transformation programs, and participating as an integrated member of engagement teams within the global Client Capabilities Network (CCN). The role requires expertise in tourism sector analysis, hospitality sector analysis, and travel industry analysis, with exposure to national development agendas and regional market dynamics. The analyst will engage in client-facing work both remotely and on-site, potentially involving regional travel, while collaborating across multicultural and cross-border teams. The position emphasizes structured problem solving, data analysis, research analysis, and insight generation to deliver impactful consulting outcomes and support client growth within a fast-paced, high-performance consulting environment.

Key responsibilities
- Conduct industry analysis, market analysis, and research analysis across tourism, travel, and hospitality sectors to support consulting teams and deliver high-impact strategic engagements
- Track and analyze regional and global market developments, generating data-driven insights to inform client decision-making and strategic planning across Middle East and international markets
- Develop structured analyses and apply problem solving frameworks to address complex challenges facing tourism, travel, and hospitality stakeholders
- Build and enhance proprietary knowledge assets, regional datasets, benchmarking tools, and diagnostic tools to support consulting engagements and improve analytical capabilities
- Translate research findings and analytical outputs into actionable insights, client reports, and strategic recommendations aligned with client objectives
- Collaborate with consulting teams as an integrated member of engagement teams within the Client Capabilities Network to support strategy and transformation programs
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to client discussions by providing structured insights, analytical outputs, and sector expertise
- Support cross-border and multicultural project delivery, including remote work and on-site client engagements across the Middle East, while managing multiple priorities in fast-paced environments
Experience & skills
- Obtain a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Economics, Business, or a related field to support analytical and consulting responsibilities
- Demonstrate at least 1+ year of professional experience in tourism or consulting, with exposure to Middle East markets considered an advantage
- Exhibit strong capabilities in industry analysis, market analysis, data analysis, and research analysis with the ability to generate structured, data-driven insights
- Show proficiency in structured problem solving and the ability to translate analytical findings into actionable insights and strategic recommendations
- Demonstrate ability to build and utilize datasets, benchmarking tools, and diagnostic tools to support consulting engagements and knowledge development
- Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with Arabic language skills preferred for regional client engagement
- Demonstrate ability to work effectively in multicultural and cross-border teams, contributing to collaborative consulting environments
- Show capability to manage multiple priorities, deliver high-quality outputs under pressure, and operate effectively in fast-paced, high-growth consulting environments
