The Vice President – Private Banker within J.P. Morgan’s International Private Bank in Dubai operates within the Asset & Wealth Management division and focuses on delivering comprehensive private banking and wealth management solutions to ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) individuals and families across the United Arab Emirates. The role is responsible for leading client acquisition and retention by leveraging a broad understanding of investments, banking solutions, trust and estate products, and financial planning strategies. The banker will work closely with multidisciplinary specialists including Investors, Capital Advisors, Trust and Estate Advisors, and Wealth Advisors to deliver holistic wealth management solutions tailored to complex client needs. Responsibilities include prospecting new clients, implementing investment and banking products, and managing client portfolios while ensuring accounts are properly maintained and compliant with J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies. The role requires extensive experience with investment strategies such as asset allocation within structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, and conducting portfolio reviews. The banker will also support deposit and loan solutions, trust and estate products, and identify wealth planning opportunities for clients. The position requires strong sales capabilities including prospecting, profiling, negotiating, overcoming objections, closing deals, and generating referrals. The role demands exceptional relationship management skills, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to rapidly evolving regulatory and technological environments while maintaining long-term partnerships with high-value clients.

Key responsibilities
- Prospect and acquire new ultra-high-net-worth clients within the United Arab Emirates to expand the private banking client base
- Deliver investment, banking, and trust or estate products to core clients while implementing tailored wealth management solutions
- Coordinate closely with Investors, Capital Advisors, Trust and Estate Advisors, and Wealth Advisors to provide interdisciplinary expertise for complex client requirements
- Manage client accounts to ensure profiles are complete, accurate, and fully maintained in compliance with J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies
- Build trusted long-term relationships with clients and proactively manage ongoing engagement and communication
- Assess client financial goals and ensure recommended products and services align with client objectives and wealth planning needs
- Conduct portfolio discussions including asset allocation strategies, portfolio reviews, and investment performance evaluations
- Drive business development initiatives including prospecting, client profiling, negotiation, closing transactions, and generating client referrals
Experience & skills
- Extensive experience in private banking with a strong track record serving ultra-high-net-worth individuals and families
- Demonstrated business development experience including client acquisition, prospecting, profiling, negotiation, and closing sales opportunities
- Strong understanding of investment products and wealth management services including asset allocation, structured portfolios, managed portfolios, brokerage accounts, portfolio reviews, deposit solutions, loan solutions, trust products, and estate planning concepts
- Ability to deliver holistic wealth management solutions by collaborating with multidisciplinary advisory teams
- Strong knowledge of client risk management standards and adherence to J.P. Morgan Risk Management policies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging sophisticated clients and stakeholders
- Strong relationship management and team collaboration capabilities within a global financial services environment
