Job description
The Code of Conduct Specialist at NEOM supports the Office of Corporate Investigations (OCI) in conducting investigations, managing case data, and ensuring adherence to NEOMās Code of Conduct and corporate ethics framework. This role assists Investigations Managers in implementing the OCI strategy, performing data analysis, coordinating case assessments, and supporting whistleblower initiatives. The position focuses on upholding NEOMās values of integrity, transparency, and accountability while managing sensitive investigations into misconduct, fraud, and risk-related matters. The specialist contributes to the continuous improvement of investigative processes, reporting mechanisms, and internal controls to safeguard ethical standards across NEOM. Responsibilities include assisting in the oversight of OCI cases, facilitating stakeholder communication, maintaining accurate records, and coordinating short- and long-term compliance initiatives. The role requires high ethical standards, a strong grasp of risk management and investigation principles, and the ability to operate within a dynamic, fast-paced legal and corporate environment.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in overseeing the activities and case management of the Office of Corporate Investigations (OCI).
- Collaborate with the OCI team to support whistleblowers and ensure protection for individuals raising concerns.
- Contribute to developing systems and mechanisms that empower employees to report wrongdoing safely.
- Support investigative reporting processes and promote changes based on findings from SpeakUp Investigations.
- Assist in implementing both short-term and long-term strategies to enhance whistleblower support and investigative practices.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders to promote improvements and corrective measures following investigations.
- Serve as a point of contact for inquiries directed to the Office of Corporate Investigations.
- Research, prioritize, and determine appropriate actions or referrals for incoming issues under guidance from the Investigations Manager.
- Assist in gathering and organizing supporting information during investigation interviews and evidence collection.
- Work within established legal and ethical guidelines when conducting investigations and handling sensitive information.
- Support special programs and awareness campaigns related to SpeakUp Investigations, ensuring effective planning and execution.
- Ensure compliance with NEOMās policies, procedures, and regulations relating to investigations and the Code of Conduct.
- Help maintain reporting and documentation for investigations to ensure consistency, transparency, and accountability.
- Assist in promoting NEOMās values of honesty, integrity, and fairness through daily activities and professional conduct.
- Provide research and analytical support in relation to fraud detection, risk management, and process improvement.
- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to ensure investigative actions align with company and regulatory frameworks.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorās degree in a relevant field such as Law, Business, or Compliance.
- Professional qualification in ACFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) or similar certification preferred.
- Additional certifications in Project Management or equivalent credentials are desirable.
- 1ā3 years of professional experience, ideally in investigations, risk management, or compliance roles.
- Understanding of fraud investigation concepts, case management, and ethical investigation methodologies.
- Basic proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques for supporting investigations.
- Strong organizational, planning, and project management skills.
- Knowledge of risk management principles and assessment techniques.
- High integrity, professionalism, and ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across departments.
- Experience supporting investigations or assessments within fast-paced environments.
- Ability to operate within legal frameworks and adhere to corporate governance standards.
