Job description
Qiddiya Investment Company seeks a Senior Manager of Project Controls to lead and execute comprehensive project controls for large-scale programs, ensuring alignment with overall project goals. The role directs a team of project control experts to implement efficient processes across cost management, scheduling, and reporting. Core accountabilities include overseeing project budgets with accurate forecasts and robust cost control measures to prevent overruns; developing comprehensive project schedules and performing critical path analysis to identify timeline impacts; and proactively identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks through structured risk management strategies. The position monitors performance using Earned Value Management (EVM) to evaluate project health and prepares timely, data-driven reports for senior management and stakeholders. The Senior Manager engages stakeholders with clear communication on status and issues, and drives continuous improvement by enhancing project control processes and methodologies to elevate delivery and performance. The mandate emphasizes in-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies, excellent analytical ability to interpret complex data for informed decision-making, and experience in large infrastructure or entertainment projects, with relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.

- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, providing clear updates on project status, performance, and emerging issues.
- Enhance project control processes and methodologies to drive continuous improvement in project delivery and overall performance.
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
- Bring at least 10 years of experience in project controls, particularly on large infrastructure or entertainment projects.
- Demonstrate strong leadership experience managing project control teams and establishing high-performing controls functions.
- Show in-depth knowledge of project management tools and methodologies relevant to cost, schedule, risk, and reporting.
- Exhibit excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and make informed decisions.
- Possess strong verbal and written communication skills to engage and inform stakeholders effectively.
- Hold relevant certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (preferred).
- Offer sector exposure in entertainment, tourism, or leisure (significant advantage).
