Delivery Specialist / Senior Delivery Specialist role within Oliver Wyman Digital responsible for supporting project teams in executing digital and technology transformation projects across clients. The position involves working in a global consulting environment delivering world-class digital products, leveraging expertise in design, data science and analytics, project delivery, and engineering. The role focuses on effective project planning, organization, and execution, supporting digital project delivery, and contributing to the establishment of project governance and delivery processes. Responsibilities include supporting the setup and execution of digital projects, managing smaller projects independently, utilizing project management tools such as JIRA, and operating within PMO structures in Digital Asset Build environments. The role requires technical understanding of front-end and back-end technologies and software development processes, knowledge of Agile methodologies, and ability to translate client business needs into technology requirements. The Delivery Specialist collaborates with cross-functional teams, supports data-driven analysis, contributes to requirements gathering, and ensures projects progress in the right direction. The role includes working closely with clients, maintaining strong communication across formal and informal settings, and contributing to project tracking and delivery management. The position requires experience working with large data sets, analytical problem-solving, and participation in digital product development initiatives. The candidate will work within Oliver Wyman Digitalās global team delivering consulting-led digital transformation projects while collaborating with designers, engineers, data scientists, and consultants to achieve successful client outcomes.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Support project teams in executing digital projects by assisting in planning, organization, and delivery while ensuring adherence to project governance and delivery frameworks
- Help set up and support the running of digital projects including managing timelines, coordinating stakeholders, and tracking deliverables using JIRA and project management tools
- Manage smaller projects independently while contributing to larger project delivery initiatives within digital transformation programs
- Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technology requirements aligned with project delivery objectives
- Support PMO functions in Digital Asset Build environments including reporting, tracking, risk identification, and project documentation
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including design, data science, engineering, and consulting teams to ensure smooth project execution
- Apply Agile methodologies to support sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery of digital solutions
- Perform analytical work including reviewing large data sets, identifying key issues, and supporting decision-making processes within project delivery
Experience & skills
- Possess at least 2 years of relevant experience supporting digital project delivery, PMO functions, or technology implementation initiatives
- Demonstrate experience using JIRA and other project management tools within Digital Asset Build environments
- Hold undergraduate or advanced degree from a top academic program
- Maintain knowledge of Agile methodologies including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery approaches
- Demonstrate technical understanding of front-end and back-end technologies and software development processes
- Show ability to translate client business requirements into technology requirements and delivery plans
- Exhibit strong analytical capability including working with large data sets and complex problem-solving scenarios
- Demonstrate fluency in English and Arabic with strong communication skills across client and internal stakeholder environments
