Job description
Julphar is seeking a Specialist – Non Sterile to ensure adherence to cGMP compliance, in-process quality checks, and documentation accuracy across its production and packaging operations (tablets, capsules, liquids, semi-solids, injectables). The role is integral to quality assurance and operational excellence, requiring proactive monitoring of production processes, inspection of materials, review of records, and support in audits and investigations. The Specialist will also play a key role in handling deviations, CAPA, market complaints, and APQR preparation to strengthen the overall Quality Management System (QMS).

Key responsibilities
- Perform in-process quality checks in production and packaging (oral solids, liquids, semi-solids, injectables)
- Verify incoming materials against specifications and return non-compliant items
- Review and update logbooks, in-process control documents, and batch records
- Document inspection results, rework, waste, and input data into SAP quality database
- Support Internal Audits and Self-Inspection programs
- Prepare Annual Product Quality Review (APQR) reports
- Investigate deviations and market complaints, ensuring CAPA implementation
- Verify calibration and functionality of in-process check equipment
- Conduct line clearance before start of production/packaging
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and regulatory standards
Experience & skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Science or Pharmacy
- Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- Good knowledge of cGMP principles
- Experience with QMS systems (Agile, Trackwise, Ampelogic)
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Good command of English (written & spoken)
- Basic to advanced computer literacy
- Risk assessment knowledge
- Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable mindset
