The EMEA Corporate Tax Manager - Vice President (Corporate Income Tax and VAT) operates within the EMEA Corporate Tax team and is responsible for leading day-to-day corporate income tax and Value Added Tax (VAT) affairs for legal entities across the GCC region from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role supports tax compliance, advisory services, and strategic tax initiatives across the region while partnering closely with the regional tax lead for MENA, who is based in Dubai. The position requires collaboration with stakeholders across lines of business, Finance, and Management to assess new business initiatives, corporate reorganizations, and operational changes from corporate income tax and VAT perspectives. Responsibilities include managing relationships with tax authorities, supporting and leading tax audits, enquiries, and information requests, and ensuring that the organization remains compliant with evolving tax regulations and obligations across GCC jurisdictions. The role requires continuous monitoring of tax regulatory developments in the GCC and translating regulatory changes into practical implementation plans, governance controls, and operational processes that ensure corporate tax and VAT compliance readiness. The position contributes to establishing governance expectations and maintaining alignment with corporate tax governance and tax risk management frameworks while promoting consistent compliance controls and documentation standards. The role also involves preparing detailed analyses, tax memos, and communications that clearly articulate tax issues, options, and recommendations for senior stakeholders. The position coordinates with external tax advisors and collaborates closely with the broader EMEA Corporate Tax team to ensure consistent tax compliance outcomes and support multi-jurisdictional tax initiatives. Additional responsibilities include driving process improvements in tax operations to strengthen compliance, documentation quality, and audit readiness while maintaining governance and risk alignment for corporate taxes and VAT obligations. The role requires monitoring and managing multiple tax projects simultaneously while maintaining accountability and transparency in project delivery. Technical capabilities include knowledge of GCC tax regulations, corporate income tax and VAT advisory, tax authority processes including Saudi regulatory requirements, and understanding of finance and ERP systems that support tax compliance and reporting workflows. The role also requires proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for tax analysis, documentation, reporting, and communication.

- Manage day-to-day corporate income tax and VAT affairs for legal entities across the GCC region ensuring timely tax compliance and delivery of high-quality tax advisory services
- Assess new business initiatives, corporate reorganizations, and operational changes from corporate income tax and VAT perspectives in partnership with the regional Head of Tax
- Manage relationships with regional tax authorities and lead or support tax audits, regulatory enquiries, and information requests
- Engage with lines of business, Finance, and Management to understand operational developments and identify key corporate tax and VAT issues impacting regional entities
- Coordinate with external tax advisors and collaborate with the broader EMEA Corporate Tax team to deliver consistent corporate tax and VAT outcomes across jurisdictions
- Monitor evolving GCC tax regulations and obligations and translate regulatory changes into practical implementation plans, governance controls, and compliance processes
- Prepare detailed tax analyses, tax memos, and stakeholder communications outlining tax issues, strategic options, and recommended actions
- Drive tax process improvements that strengthen tax compliance, documentation quality, internal controls, and tax audit readiness
- Maintain governance and tax risk alignment for corporate income tax and VAT matters while escalating and remediating tax issues promptly
- Track, prioritize, and manage multiple corporate tax projects while ensuring accountability, transparency, and timely delivery of tax initiatives
Experience & skills
- Possess professional accounting or tax qualification
- Demonstrate corporate income tax and VAT experience within the GCC region, ideally within the financial services industry
- Demonstrate knowledge of governance and risk principles applicable to corporate income tax and VAT operations
- Demonstrate proficiency in written and verbal communication in both Arabic and English languages
- Demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking capabilities to develop commercially sound tax solutions
- Demonstrate ability to work independently, manage multiple tax projects, and meet deadlines within a regulated financial services environment
- Demonstrate proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word for tax analysis, reporting, and documentation
- Demonstrate experience preparing tax documentation, tax memos, and presenting recommendations to senior stakeholders
- Demonstrate familiarity with GCC tax authority practices and systems including Saudi tax rules and processes
