Job description
The Manager β Digital Strategy and Emerging Technologies leads key workstreams within large-scale digital transformation initiatives for government entities and major organizations across the Middle East. The role focuses on developing digital strategies and transformation roadmaps while leveraging emerging technologies such as blockchain, verifiable credentials, digital identity, and tokenization. The position requires strong consulting and leadership capabilities to translate strategic vision into practical digital solutions and platforms. The manager collaborates closely with clients, internal teams, and technology partners to design scalable, secure, and future-ready digital ecosystems that support innovation, efficiency, and long-term digital growth.

Key responsibilities
- Lead workstreams that develop digital strategies, transformation roadmaps, and operating models aligned with client objectives and technology capabilities.
- Conduct research, benchmarking, and market analysis to identify digital trends and global best practices relevant to client sectors.
- Define digital visions, strategic goals, and performance indicators to support long-term transformation initiatives.
- Translate strategic recommendations into actionable implementation plans with defined initiatives, timelines, risks, and governance structures.
- Identify and prioritize blockchain and digital asset use cases such as digital identity, verifiable credentials, tokenization, and supply chain traceability.
- Design distributed ledger and blockchain architectures, ensuring integration with existing enterprise systems and digital platforms.
- Support the development of token models, digital credential frameworks, and trust models for decentralized identity ecosystems.
- Oversee the implementation of pilots, proof-of-concepts, and minimum viable products related to blockchain and digital asset solutions.
- Manage relationships with technology vendors, partners, and system integrators to ensure successful delivery of digital platforms and services.
- Mentor junior consultants and contribute to knowledge sharing, internal capability building, and business development activities.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
- 6β9 years of experience in management consulting, digital strategy, or technology advisory roles.
- Experience working on digital transformation programs involving blockchain, digital identity, or tokenization technologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead consulting workstreams and manage stakeholders across complex projects.
- Experience advising government organizations, financial institutions, or large enterprises on digital innovation initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven analysis, financial modelling, and business case development.
- Knowledge of digital platform architecture, APIs, data integration, and ecosystem design.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, or TOGAF are preferred.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are considered an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication, and strategic problem-solving capabilities.
