Job description
The Digital Senior Product Owner within the Retail Banking Group (RBG) at Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank PJSC (ADCB) is responsible for driving Digital product Development and Implementation across alternate delivery channels, including internet, mobile, tablet, SMS, wearable, and digital TV, to broaden service offerings and elevate Digital Channel services in alignment with business goals. The role requires strong Digital Sales and Acquisition knowledge, specifically for Lending Product – Credit Card and Personal Loan Digital Journey. The mandate includes identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation across digital channels, planning and coordinating onboarding, usage, and migration initiatives for assigned digital products, ensuring seamless customer experience, and prompt resolution of service issues to protect the bank’s reputation. The incumbent must monitor and analyze product usage metrics and revenue-related KPIs to assess adoption, identify trends, and support data-driven enhancements, collaborating with analytics, operations, and customer service teams to ensure accurate reporting, timely issue escalation, and continuous improvement of digital product performance. The role ensures Quality Certification, Audit and Compliance, including adherence to regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001 certification for internet banking/mobile Banking and product development. It includes People Management responsibilities aligned with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices, organizing and supervising team activities to ensure targets, objectives, and the business plan are delivered in line with required policies, processes, procedures and systems. The role also requires implementation of approved departmental policies, processes and procedures, driving Continuous Improvement through change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with Bank standards, and delivering Customer Service excellence by applying ADCB Service Standards. The position requires at least 10 years of experience delivering projects in alternate delivery channels within a Bank, knowledge of web channels and mobile technologies, Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization, MBA from top college, and Project Management Prince II or Project Management Institute (PMI) or Agile (or equivalent) Certification, along with written and spoken English proficiency.

- Lead Digital product Development and Implementation initiatives across internet, mobile, tablet, SMS, wearable and digital TV channels by identifying opportunities for enhancement and innovation, expanding service offerings, aligning Digital Channel services with business goals, and driving Digital Sales and Acquisition for Lending Product – Credit Card and Personal Loan Digital Journey to elevate customer engagement and revenue generation
- Plan, coordinate and execute onboarding, usage and migration initiatives for assigned digital products, ensuring seamless customer experience, proactive resolution of service issues, protection of the bank’s reputation, and effective collaboration with analytics, operations and customer service teams for accurate reporting, timely issue escalation and performance optimization
- Monitor and analyze product usage metrics and revenue-related KPIs to assess product adoption, identify customer behavior trends, support data-driven enhancements, and continuously improve digital product performance across alternate delivery channels within the Bank
- Ensure Quality Certification, Audit and Compliance by maintaining adherence to regulatory requirements such as ISO 9001 certification for internet banking/mobile Banking and product development, and by validating that all digital services meet required regulatory and internal standards
- Manage self and team in line with ADCB’s people management policies, procedures, processes and practices by organizing, supervising and directing team activities to achieve targets and objectives, deliver the business plan, and ensure compliance with required policies, processes, procedures and systems
- Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures while driving Continuous Improvement initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards, and demonstrate ADCB Service Standards in all internal and external customer interactions to deliver required levels of service
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a minimum of 10 years of experience delivering projects in alternate delivery channels within a Bank, with proven exposure to Digital product Development and Implementation across internet banking, mobile Banking, web channels and mobile technologies
- Exhibit strong Digital Sales and Acquisition knowledge, specifically in Lending Product – Credit Card and Personal Loan Digital Journey, with the ability to manage onboarding initiatives, migration initiatives and optimization of digital customer journeys
- Possess in-depth understanding of product usage metrics and revenue-related KPIs, with the capability to support data-driven enhancements, performance tracking and reporting in collaboration with analytics, operations and customer service teams
- Ensure familiarity with Quality Certification, Audit and Compliance standards, including ISO 9001 certification requirements for internet banking/mobile Banking and product development within a regulated banking environment
- Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant specialization and an MBA from top college, demonstrating strong academic foundation aligned to digital banking and product management disciplines
- Maintain valid Project Management Prince II or Project Management Institute (PMI) or Agile (or equivalent) Certification, and demonstrate proficiency in written and spoken English to effectively manage documentation, reporting and cross-functional coordination
