Job description
The Manager β Fleet Maintenance is responsible for managing fleet operations and maintenance for the Mobility team, ensuring vehicles are optimally maintained and compliant with corporate policies, branding guidelines, and local regulations and laws. The role supervises technicians and maintenance staff, supports the establishment and operation of fleet maintenance facilities, and drives efficiency, consistency, and accuracy across fleet operations. Acting as a subject matter consultant on manufacturer-recommended maintenance standards, the role ensures effective department performance and a positive guest experience through high fleet availability and upkeep. Responsibilities span fleet maintenance systems accuracy, workshop coordination, repair and replacement procurement, legal compliance, accident management, safety readiness, budgeting, and continuous process improvement while collaborating closely with manufacturers, Mobility leadership, and internal stakeholders.

Key responsibilities
- Ensure accurate and timely fleet maintenance records in operational systems and maintain complete vehicle history data at all times
- Receive vehicle complaints, coordinate repairs with workshop suppliers, monitor workshop expenses, and manage purchase requests for repair and replacement parts
- Maintain fleet legality by tracking and renewing vehicle registration, insurance, and local compliance documentation
- Review and process vehicle accident and damage reports and coordinate follow-up actions
- Monitor fleet safety readiness, including tools, spare tires, and driver safety training and awareness
- Implement lean and efficient maintenance processes, policies, and procedures to drive continuous improvement
- Monitor fleet maintenance budgets, analyze variances, and take proactive actions to prevent overruns
- Collaborate with manufacturers and the Mobility Director to enhance fleet maintenance standards and guest experience
- Lead and supervise technicians and maintenance employees within fleet operations and maintenance
Experience & skills
- Hold a bachelorβs degree or equivalent qualification
- Have at least 6 years of GCC experience in the automotive or transportation industry with proven fleet maintenance expertise
- Demonstrate familiarity with local authority coordination for fleet regulations and compliance
- Possess proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook with ability to manage high-volume, fast-paced operational environments
