Job description
The Custom Consulting Lead (EMEA Custom Consulting Executive) in Microsoftâs Industry Solutions Delivery team will lead, orchestrate, and drive customer value by being at the heart of custom deal making in a sales capacity. The role accelerates AI and cloud adoption through customized and repeatable solutions, engages with senior stakeholders including C-level executives, and contributes to Microsoftâs most transformational projects. This individual partners with local and regional leaders, shapes consulting deals, and influences Microsoftâs strategic direction while leveraging consulting IP and technical acumen to deliver customer transformation.

Key responsibilities
- Partner with local leaders and sales teams, establishing strong partnerships and driving a Cross-CSA approach aligned to company strategy
- Bring technology and industry insights into customer engagements, close deals, and coach others internally
- Influence Microsoftâs strategic direction across markets and lead cross-organizational teams on strategic projects
- Leverage CSA assets and consulting IP to deliver customer digital and AI transformation
- Actively participate in sales planning, orchestration, and deal closure using Microsoftâs sales methodology
- Shape and sell custom consulting solutions with technical acumen to maximize Microsoft investments
- Provide deal coaching and encourage cross-area learning within the solution area
- Work seamlessly with wider account teams, building and strengthening relationships to drive consumption
- Put AI at the forefront of consulting and solution delivery
- Continuously build sales expertise, solution knowledge, and invest in personal development
Experience & skills
- Strong experience in solution-based selling across one or more CSAs
- Ability to position cross-CSA offerings and align customer needs with portfolio
- Experience selling into commercial or public sector accounts with understanding of industry trends
- Demonstrated ability to tailor solutions to industry-specific needs and contribute to account planning
- Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing C-level relationships
- Exposure to consulting or solution architecture practices
- Proven ability to drive digital transformation initiatives and value conversations
- Bachelorâs or Masterâs Degree in Business, IT, or related field
- Significant industry sales experience in commercial or public sector
- Substantial consulting solution sales and delivery experience
