Job description
The Performance Management Lead for Oliver Wymanâs IMEA region is responsible for overseeing and executing the firmâs performance management strategy across India, Middle East, and Africa. This role involves managing the IMEA Performance Management Team, working closely with Talent Management, HC Operations, and Leadership to implement performance review cycles, track consultant performance, and support capability development. The role ensures consistency and quality in performance assessments across consulting cohorts, facilitates calibration discussions, and provides advisory support for performance cases including PIPs and TDPs. Additionally, the lead is responsible for building dashboards, analyzing performance and capability trends, and providing actionable insights to leadership. Process excellence is critical, including end-to-end management of mid-year and year-end reviews, automation improvements, and maintenance of data integrity across HR systems. The role also identifies learning and coaching opportunities and collaborates with L&D to address development needs, ensuring seamless consultant experiences and high-quality talent decisions across multiple geographies.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the IMEA Performance Management Team and manage end-to-end performance review processes
- Implement and continuously improve Oliver Wymanâs global performance system (ADVANCE) across the region
- Monitor consultantsâ performance, identify early warning signals, and recommend interventions
- Partner with Talent Managers, HC Operations, and Leadership on performance cases, ensuring documentation and follow-through
- Facilitate calibration discussions to maintain consistency and quality aligned with competency frameworks
- Develop dashboards and analytics to track performance trends, capability gaps, and utilization across geographies and levels
- Provide advisory support to leaders and Talent Managers on performance and development decisions
- Lead the mid-year and year-end review cycles including communications, logistics, documentation, and stakeholder management
- Drive process improvements leveraging automation and HR systems for better efficiency and data integrity
- Identify learning and coaching needs and collaborate with L&D to deliver targeted interventions
- Train consultants and reviewers on effective self-evaluation, feedback delivery, and review writing
- Build strong partnerships across Talent Management, HC Operations, L&D, and business leadership
Experience & skills
- 6+ years of experience in performance management, people analytics, consulting operations, or HR strategy roles
- Experience in management consulting, Big 4 advisory, or multinational professional services environment preferred
- Proven track record managing performance or talent programs across multiple stakeholders and geographies
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights for talent decisions
- Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and insight-driven
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and providing advisory support
- Collaborative and proactive problem-solving mindset
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, global consulting environment
