Job description
Oracle Financials sits at the heart of ADNOC Offshore's finance function, and this Abu Dhabi Senior Analyst keeps its General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, currencies and Chart of Accounts in order. Interfaces with Maximo and HRMS need to stay accurate, with payroll, AP and inventory interface reports reconciled to the General Ledger. Segment values and code combinations are created, updated, activated and deactivated at the request of Finance Away Teams and ROs. Monthly closing, trial balances and cost reports for ADOF and the Concessions run under your supervision. Balance sheet accounts such as bank balances, supplier advances and cash call positions are reconciled, with journal vouchers raised for any differences. Cash calls, cost allocations and variance analysis against budget follow each month, and draft quarterly and annual financial statements are prepared under IFRS. Budget templates, 5 Year Plan data and performance reports support corporate planning and reporting to shareholders on Joint Venture and Sole risk activity. End users, away teams and young UAE Nationals rely on your training, and automation ideas help speed up financial processes. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Finance, 8-9 years of finance and accounting experience, ideally in oil and gas, and ACA, ACCA, ACMA or CPA certification are required.
