Job description
An established hospitality venue in Doha is hiring an Assistant Manager - Events Sales to assist in the coordination and sales of corporate, social, and MICE events. The role involves handling client inquiries, preparing proposals, conducting site inspections, and working with internal departments to ensure successful event delivery. This client-facing position requires a skilled negotiator and communicator with strong project management capabilities and a keen understanding of the events and hospitality market. The successful candidate will contribute to revenue growth and customer retention while maintaining high service and operational standards.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in the sales and coordination of corporate, social, and MICE events.
- Handle client inquiries, prepare proposals, and conduct site inspections.
- Follow up with clients from initial inquiry to event completion, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
- Work closely with the Banquet, F&B, and Operations teams to ensure smooth event execution.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales activities and client interactions using CRM systems.
- Support the senior sales team in achieving revenue targets and market penetration goals.
- Attend networking events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote the hotelās event facilities.
- Assist in preparing weekly/monthly sales reports and forecasts.
- Maintain knowledge of competitors and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and operational procedures.
