The Branch Supervisor – E-Commerce Operations role at Panda Retail Company in Taif, Saudi Arabia is a mid-level operational leadership position responsible for supervising, coordinating, and optimizing daily e-commerce and online shopping operations within a retail store environment. The role focuses on ensuring smooth execution of order picking, fulfillment, and store coordination activities to support Panda Retail Company’s omnichannel retail strategy. The Branch Supervisor is accountable for supervising staff duty schedules, monitoring employee attendance, timing, and personal hygiene to ensure compliance with operational and company standards. A core responsibility of the role is executing the optimal utilization of pickers to maximize productivity, efficiency, and order accuracy while meeting daily volumes and service-level expectations. The position works closely with the store operations team to ensure timely replenishment, product availability, and stock readiness to support online orders and minimize fulfillment delays or substitutions. The Branch Supervisor is responsible for training team members to follow established operational procedures, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across e-commerce operations. The role ensures the achievement of daily operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs), monitors performance against objectives, and takes corrective actions as needed to maintain service levels. In addition, the supervisor ensures the continuous availability and readiness of operational assets and consumables, including bags, boxes, and picking devices, to prevent operational disruptions. The role requires regular communication with the area operations lead to report on daily operational performance, staffing needs, resource requirements, and operational challenges. This position operates within a large-scale retail organization and supports the growth of online shopping and e-commerce fulfillment capabilities through disciplined supervision, coordination, and performance management.
Required skills
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and monitor daily duty schedules, employee attendance, timing, and personal hygiene to ensure compliance with operational standards
- Execute effective utilization of pickers by allocating resources according to order volumes, priorities, and operational needs
- Coordinate closely with store operations teams to ensure timely replenishment and continuous product availability for e-commerce orders
- Train team members on standard operating procedures, workflows, and best practices to ensure consistent execution of e-commerce processes
- Ensure achievement of daily operational targets and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to productivity, accuracy, and service levels
- Ensure availability, readiness, and proper use of operational assets and consumables including bags, boxes, and picking devices
- Communicate daily operational updates, performance results, staffing requirements, and operational issues to the area operations lead
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate a mandatory background in retail operations
- Possess experience or exposure to online shopping or e-commerce operations, which is considered a strong advantage
- Demonstrate proficiency in English language
- Demonstrate proficiency in Arabic language as an advantage
- Possess working knowledge of MS Office applications
- Demonstrate analytical skills to assess operational performance and support decision-making
- Demonstrate a strong personality suitable for supervising teams in a fast-paced retail environment
