Job description
The Sales Manager at CHANEL Dubai Duty Free is responsible for leading a team of Fashion Advisors and Assistant Supervisors to deliver an exceptional luxury client experience while driving sales performance. The role involves managing boutique operations, ensuring compliance with House procedures and the Boutique Charter, coaching team members to enhance style expertise and client service, and federating the team to achieve commercial objectives. The manager oversees inventory management, sell-through and category objectives, collaborates with Visual Merchandising for product line visibility, contributes to boutique business strategy and collection buying, performs quantitative business analyses, and reports to boutique management. As a brand ambassador, the Sales Manager embodies CHANEL's values, ensures brand-consistent client interactions, participates in client events, and drives operational excellence. The position emphasizes leadership, coaching, analytical decision-making, brand stewardship, and flexibility to operate in a high-paced airport retail environment.

Key responsibilities
- Manage a team of Fashion Advisors and Assistant Supervisors ensuring proper understanding and deployment of the House's strategy
- Coach and develop the team to achieve high levels of style expertise and client experience
- Motivate the team towards achievement of commercial objectives via regular one-to-one follow-up meetings
- Maximize individual potential, define priority actions for skill development, and report progress to the Deputy Manager
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the boutique’s overall business strategy in collaboration with the Deputy Manager
- Oversee compliance with Boutique procedures and the Boutique Charter
- Propose suggestions to enhance client experience and boutique operational efficiency
- Manage and monitor sales to ensure strong progress towards goals
- Assist in buying collections for the boutique while respecting budget and brand guidelines
- Perform quantitative analyses to make recommendations related to business and product strategy
- Set up action plans to develop business and performance of the boutique activity
- Make regular reports to Boutique Management
- Ensure product line visibility in collaboration with Visual Merchandising
- Optimize inventory management and track sell-through and inventory objectives for assigned categories
- Act as an ambassador of the brand, delivering consistent client experience in line with brand guidelines and participating in client events
- Embody environmental and societal values of the House and apply Chanel Brand Image in decision making
