Job description
The Fraud Prevention Consultant at Tap Payments in Riyadh is responsible for leading a team focused on identifying, mitigating, and preventing fraudulent activity across the company's payment platforms. The role combines hands-on fraud review, trend analysis, and process improvement, while ensuring compliance with AML, KYC, and sanction regulations. The consultant acts as a key escalation point for fraud detection, provides actionable recommendations, and collaborates closely with the Fraud Manager and cross-functional teams to enhance the integrity and safety of transactions.

Key responsibilities
- Support fraud specialists in reviewing alerts and reports to identify suspicious activity
- Analyze fraud trends and recommend process improvements
- Review accounts and transactions for potential fraud
- Collaborate with onboarding and activations teams to implement recommendations
- Work with Fraud Manager to refine fraud review processes
- Manage and lead a team, including scheduling, check-ins, and performance reviews
- Assist internal teams with ad hoc fraud reviews and requests
- Ensure compliance with anti-money laundering (AML), KYC, and sanction regulations
- Perform additional duties as assigned based on business needs and growth
Experience & skills
- 2–4 years of role-specific experience in fraud prevention, preferably in fintech
- Ability to build credibility and develop client/merchant/stakeholder relationships
- Strong interpersonal skills and leadership ability for small teams
- Growth mindset with a solution-driven approach
- Effective prioritization and organizational skills
- High productivity and focus on innovation
- Excellent communication skills in English; Arabic language skills preferred
- Preferred degree in a relevant field, though equivalent real-world experience is accepted
