Job description
The Manager â Execution Audit (QA/QC Lead) is responsible for overseeing and auditing all on-site construction activities to ensure strict adherence to approved drawings, engineering standards, contractual specifications, and safety regulations. The role plays a critical part in safeguarding project quality, minimizing risk, and maintaining alignment with project timelines and budgets. Acting as a PMC representative or Ownerâs Representative where required, the position provides independent oversight of multidisciplinary works and leads the implementation of robust quality assurance and control processes throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive execution audits of ongoing site activities to verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality benchmarks.
- Ensure all mechanical, civil, and electrical works are executed in line with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Validate construction progress against project schedules and quality milestones, identifying deviations, risks, or performance gaps.
- Prepare detailed audit reports highlighting non-conformities, potential risks, and recommended corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinate and execute specialized audits across mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines to ensure integrated quality oversight.
- Manage and mentor the site QA/QC team, ensuring consistent application of quality assurance procedures and documentation standards.
- Review and monitor implementation of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and material approvals.
- Issue and track Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and ensure timely resolution through collaboration with contractors and consultants.
- Act as PMC or Ownerâs Representative to safeguard client interests, ensuring transparency and accountability in project execution.
- Monitor compliance with HSE standards and escalate safety-related risks impacting quality and execution integrity.
- Participate in project review meetings, providing insights on quality trends, risk exposure, and mitigation strategies.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within QA/QC processes to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorâs degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in QA/QC leadership roles within large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of multidisciplinary engineering standards, construction methodologies, and regulatory frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience conducting site audits, quality inspections, and compliance reviews.
- Hands-on experience managing QA/QC teams and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project stakeholders.
- Familiarity with project management principles and ability to operate effectively within PMC or Ownerâs Representative environments.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify systemic issues and recommend corrective strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for reporting to senior management and project stakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and maintain attention to detail.
- Professional certifications in QA/QC, ISO auditing, or project management (e.g., ISO Lead Auditor, PMP) are advantageous.
