Key responsibilities
- Provide complete, accurate, detailed, and approved construction documents to appropriate teams
- Create various documents such as project plans, progress reports, inventory reports, and project requests
- Keep abreast of new technology, legal requirements, trends, and recommend and implement improvements
- Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for departmental processes and procedures
- Coordinate with the design team on project deadlines and requirements
- Meet project deadlines and ensure timely delivery
- Conduct consultant meetings and presentations (on and off-site)
- Conduct project presentations including samples, budgets, FF&E packages, and construction drawings
- Conduct site visits for information gathering, planning, photography, and measurements
- Supervise on-site installation and furniture placement
- Coordinate with the purchasing department for project requirements
- Conduct vendor sourcing and research
- Ensure quality design process compliance with local codes of practice
- Coordinate with consultants, internal departments, and vendors to manage changes and obtain approvals
- Create and manage blueprints, field measures, site documentation, client boards, and presentations
- Review and approve all design work to ensure compliance with codes and standards
- Guide team in researching and developing standardized material libraries and project submittals
- Maintain and manage digital database of floor plans across company facilities
- Review and plan space allocation for departments and facilities
- Develop and execute project plans and delivery commitments, communicate project status and risks
- Research external vendor bids to determine best quality and pricing
Experience & skills
- Degree or postgraduate degree in Architecture, Interior Design / MSc or equivalent
- 10+ years relevant experience as an interior design architect in a reputed design consultancy
- Familiarity with Local Codes of Practice
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino, 3DMax, SketchUp
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Ability to meet project timelines and client expectations
- Fluent in written and spoken English
