Job description
The Facilities Management Coordinator at Mace supports the FM Lead in operating, maintaining, and ensuring the performance of all project facilities across the construction site, including welfare buildings, utilities, accommodation zones, and temporary infrastructure. The role involves coordinating day-to-day FM activities, supporting planned and reactive maintenance, managing cleaning, waste, utilities, catering, accommodation, security, and general site services, monitoring service provider performance against contractual KPIs, assisting with FM reporting, inspections, audits, and tracking statutory and HSE requirements. Additionally, the coordinator supports asset management, inventory control, and work order systems while ensuring all FM operations comply with Mace’s health, safety, and wellbeing standards and promote a safe, cost-effective, and efficient site capable of supporting high construction delivery pace.

Key responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day facilities management activities across the project site
- Support delivery of planned and reactive maintenance ensuring timely resolution of issues
- Manage cleaning, waste, utilities, catering, accommodation, security, and general site services
- Monitor service provider performance and escalate non-compliance with contractual KPIs
- Assist with FM reporting, inspections, audits, and tracking of statutory and HSE requirements
- Support asset management, inventory control, and work order systems
- Ensure all FM operations align with Mace’s health, safety, and wellbeing standards
Experience & skills
- Minimum 5 years experience in Facilities Coordination roles within construction, remote site, or large infrastructure environments
- Strong organisational skills with ability to manage multiple services simultaneously
- Proactive approach to problem solving and service improvement
- Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
- Familiarity with FM systems, maintenance processes, and contractor oversight
