Job description
The Head of Sales & GTM – Trading role at Lean is a senior commercial leadership position based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with responsibility for owning and scaling the go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, and market penetration for Lean’s Trading vertical across the UAE and KSA. The role operates within a rapidly scaling fintech organization transitioning into a multi-product, verticalized commercial model, serving crypto trading platforms, exchanges, investment applications, brokerages, liquidity providers, market makers, OTC desks, and crypto-native wallets. The position owns full P&L accountability for the Trading vertical and defines the vertical roadmap covering trading-specific funding flows, instant withdrawals, verification, fraud controls, KYC, KYT, liquidity management, token risk, settlement, custody, treasury, and wallet experiences. The role leads complex enterprise sales cycles with founders, executives, CTOs, compliance leaders, treasury owners, and product teams, positioning Lean as a critical infrastructure layer for faster onboarding, lower risk, improved liquidity, and seamless funding and withdrawal experiences. It partners closely with Product, Engineering, Product Marketing, Customer Success, Solutions Engineering, and RevOps to drive GTM execution, activation quality, time-to-value, and consumption growth. The role represents Lean across the trading ecosystem, builds deep operator networks, ensures regulatory and compliance alignment, and builds and leads a dedicated GTM pod with accountability for forecasting, pipeline health, and trading-specific revenue outcomes.

Key responsibilities
- Own full P&L responsibility, GTM strategy, and market capture for the Trading vertical across UAE and KSA
- Define and execute the Trading vertical roadmap including funding flows, instant withdrawals, verification, fraud, KYC, KYT, liquidity management, token risk, and settlement requirements
- Segment and prioritize trading sub-verticals including centralized exchanges, brokerages, retail investment apps, OTC desks, market makers, and crypto wallets
- Lead high-stakes enterprise sales cycles and close complex multi-stakeholder deals
- Define deal strategies for new logos and expansion opportunities across withdrawals, payouts, verification, funding rails, and wallet experiences
- Partner with Product and Engineering to influence roadmap priorities based on trading workflows, regulatory requirements, and operational bottlenecks
- Collaborate with Product Marketing to develop vertical-specific narratives, pricing, positioning, and sales enablement
- Ensure tight execution with Customer Success and Solutions Engineering to drive activation quality, time-to-value, and revenue consumption growth
- Represent Lean as the executive face across the trading ecosystem including industry events, compliance forums, regulators, and exchanges
- Build and lead a dedicated GTM pod including AEs, CSMs, and SEs with KPIs tied to trading-specific growth
- Establish high standards for forecasting accuracy, pipeline health, and sales execution discipline
- Operate in alignment with regulatory standards and internal risk and compliance frameworks
Experience & skills
- Demonstrate strong experience in payments, crypto infrastructure, open banking, or trading-related funding and withdrawal flows
- Possess direct experience selling into or working with trading platforms, exchanges, brokerages, or investment products
- Demonstrate a proven track record building and scaling enterprise sales motions
- Exhibit ability to independently close complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals
- Demonstrate experience creating go-to-market motions from scratch
- Exhibit executive-level relationship management with founders, C-suite, and senior product leaders
- Demonstrate strong cross-functional influence across Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations
- Demonstrate deep industry fluency in trading; MENA market experience is an advantage
