Job description
Electrical equipment at the Alkhafa plant in Saudi Arabia needs planned care and fast repairs, and this maintenance engineer organises both under the Section Head. Preventive and corrective jobs are assigned and supervised, along with monthly and annual outages and overhauls. Work orders run through CMMS (SAP), coordinated with the planning engineer until each job is complete. Quotations from purchasing are evaluated technically, and purchase requisitions for spares and consumables respect budget limits while keeping strategic spares available. Maintenance procedures and work instructions get reviewed and improved. IMS objectives, targets and programmes are implemented and reported, with hazard risk and aspect impact assessments kept current. Non-conformances are traced to root causes and closed with corrective and preventive actions. Maintenance staff work under your direction, receive on-the-job training and get annual performance evaluations. Four to eight years of related experience and a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering are required, with 10 years preferred, and ISO 9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001 awareness helps.
