The Integration Architect – L2 at Wipro is responsible for creating exceptional integration architectural solution designs and providing thought leadership to enable delivery teams and ensure outstanding client engagement and satisfaction. The role defines enterprise-wide integration architecture for new deals and major change requests, provides solutioning for digital integration RFPs, analyses applications, exchange points, data formats, connectivity requirements and technology environments to set an integration solution design framework/architecture, and offers technical leadership for the design, development and implementation of integration solutions using modern technology. The architect documents and applies integration patterns, best practices and processes; evaluates and recommends products and solutions; produces detailed integration architecture covering logical, deployment and data views; validates solutions/prototypes for technology fit, cost structure and customer differentiation; identifies problem areas and performs root cause analysis; collaborates with sales, program/project and consulting teams to reconcile solutions to architecture; tracks industry integration trends to plan current and future IT needs; provides technical and strategic input during project planning; reviews objectives and constraints for enterprise architecture conformance; and identifies implementation risks and potential impacts. The role enables delivery teams by developing integration KPIs/SLAs, risk mitigation plans, quality assurance of integration architecture/design decisions, development and maintenance of integration frameworks and artefacts, consistent application of integration principles/patterns/standards, pre-sales support (presenting solution design/principles, coordinating requirements, demonstrating thought leadership), and driving optimal client engagement. Competency building and branding include completing necessary training and certifications on integration middleware, developing POCs/case studies/demos for new growth areas, publishing Wipro points of view via white papers/blogs, helping attain market recognition (analyst rankings, client testimonials, partner credits), speaking in internal/external forums, mentoring developers/designers/junior architects, and contributing to the integration practice via selection interviews. Team management encompasses anticipating talent needs, supporting hiring, onboarding/training, and providing inputs for appraisals/performance reviews. Performance measures span proposal quality and win support, solution acceptance and implementation effectiveness, CSAT/cost/quality/timeline delivery, reusable components and automation recommendations, and capability development (trainings, certifications, thought leadership content). Mandatory skills include IBM CLOUD PAK for Integration, with experience greater than 10 years.
