Job description
The Project Manager β Digital & Automation (Healthcare IT) is responsible for leading the end-to-end delivery of complex Healthcare IT projects including PACS, RIS, VNA, CVIS, and eHealth initiatives. Based in Dubai, this role owns project planning, execution, governance, risk management, and stakeholder alignment from project kick-off through go-live and post-go-live stabilization. The position requires strong technical and functional oversight across integration, infrastructure readiness, environment setup, testing, and deployment activities. The Project Manager ensures structured governance, maintains full lifecycle accountability from requirements through design, build, test, deployment, and stabilization, and guarantees alignment with scope, budget, and timeline commitments. A strong emphasis is placed on quality assurance, documentation completeness, and operational handover including runbooks, escalation paths, and support matrices. The role demands close collaboration with clinical users, customer IT teams, vendors, and internal delivery teams to ensure successful implementation and high customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate combines strong Healthcare IT domain expertise with disciplined project governance, structured documentation practices, and the ability to translate technical complexity into clear executive-level communication.

- Drive technical workstreams across interoperability, integration engines, infrastructure readiness, cloud or hybrid deployments, networking, security basics, testing, and production deployment while ensuring full lifecycle traceability from requirements to stabilization.
- Manage quality assurance processes including SIT and UAT planning and execution, defect triage, traceability documentation, evidence management, go-live planning, rollback strategies, and structured operational handover documentation.
- Maintain and control project documentation including SOWs, technical documentation, assumptions and exclusions, acceptance criteria, decision logs, risk and issue registers, and change requests with formal impact analysis on time, cost, and scope.
- Engage and manage stakeholders across customer IT teams, clinical users, vendors, partners, and internal delivery functions, ensuring alignment, proactive escalation management, and strong communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Establish and maintain structured governance frameworks including management of risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies with clear mitigation plans and accountability, while ensuring high customer satisfaction and successful project outcomes.
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree in Engineering, Health Informatics, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 8 years of project and/or implementation management experience in Healthcare IT, Enterprise IT, or Digital Health environments.
- Proven experience delivering large, multi-stakeholder Healthcare IT projects with full lifecycle ownership from requirements gathering through design, build, testing, go-live, and post-go-live stabilization.
- Strong technical expertise in interoperability standards such as HL7 and FHIR, IHE concepts, APIs, imaging workflows including DICOM and PACS/VNA integrations, and experience working with integration engines.
- Practical exposure to cloud and hybrid deployments, infrastructure planning, networking fundamentals, and basic security concepts within healthcare or enterprise IT environments.
- Demonstrated mastery of project management methodologies including WBS creation, dependency mapping, critical path analysis, governance reporting, structured change management, and disciplined SOW management.
- Strong risk management judgment, proactive problem ownership, structured documentation practices, and the ability to communicate complex technical topics effectively to non-technical executives and clinical stakeholders.
- Professional certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred, ITIL Foundation certification considered an advantage, and a track record of high integrity, accountability, and disciplined follow-through in complex project environments.
