Job description
The Oracle HCM Consultant (Business & Technology Delivery Analyst) role at Accenture Technology focuses on implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud modules, including Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management, and Recruiting. The consultant will work with global clients to translate HR business processes into technical solutions while supporting system upgrades, patching, integrations, and data conversions. The position involves hands-on experience with HCM Data Loader (HDL), BI Publisher, OTBI, and Spreadsheet loaders, as well as developing functional specifications for integrations and customizations. The consultant will create configuration documentation, perform system testing, troubleshoot issues, and support end-users. The role requires strong understanding of HR processes and best practices, combined with technical expertise in Oracle Fusion HCM applications and related tools such as REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud.

Key responsibilities
- Assist in implementing and supporting Oracle HCM Cloud modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management, and Recruiting.
- Configure Oracle HCM modules according to defined business requirements and execute system testing.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to analyze HR business processes and design system-based solutions.
- Provide end-user support including troubleshooting, issue identification, and resolution related to HCM modules.
- Develop functional specifications for integrations, reports, and customizations aligned with client requirements.
- Participate in system upgrade activities, patch testing, and release validation exercises.
- Perform data uploads and conversions using HCM Data Loader (HDL) and Spreadsheet Loaders.
- Create and maintain configuration documentation, standard operating procedures, and training materials.
Experience & skills
- Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Possess a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules implementation and support.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of HR processes and industry best practices.
- Have working knowledge of HCM Data Loader (HDL), BI Publisher, and OTBI tools.
- Hold an Oracle HCM Cloud Certification in modules such as Core HR or Payroll (preferred).
- Experience with Fusion Security and Roles setup is desirable.
- Exposure to integration technologies such as REST/SOAP APIs and Oracle Integration Cloud is preferred.
- Experience working with global or multi-country implementations is advantageous.
