Job description
The Sales Manager β Used Units at Al-Futtaim Automotive (FAMCO) is responsible for leading and driving the Used Units Sales operations in the Western Region of Saudi Arabia. This role focuses on achieving defined sales volume, revenue, and gross margin targets while ensuring strong operational alignment with internal stakeholders and retail partners. The incumbent will lead a team of six sales professionals and work closely with the Country Manager, Planning & Analysis, Logistics, After-Sales, and New Units Sales teams to ensure seamless coordination across the full sales lifecycle. The position plays a strategic role in stock management, forecasting accuracy, KPI monitoring, and the successful execution of trade-in and buyback programs that support overall business growth. The Sales Manager is accountable for setting monthly and quarterly sales objectives by model and branch, developing detailed sales forecasts, and implementing corrective actions where required to ensure consistent performance delivery. A strong understanding of heavy commercial vehicles and construction equipment markets, particularly within KSA, is essential. The role demands strong leadership, commercial acumen, data-driven decision-making capabilities, and the ability to influence stakeholders at multiple levels to drive sustainable profitability and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities
- Lead the Used Units Sales function in the Western Region and ensure achievement of sales volume, revenue, and gross margin targets
- Set monthly and quarterly objectives by model and branch in collaboration with the Planning & Analysis team
- Develop and maintain accurate weekly sales and gross-margin forecasts for senior management reporting
- Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly sales progression and implement corrective measures to address performance gaps
- Ensure optimal stock availability and proactively manage ageing inventory through targeted sales campaigns and promotional initiatives
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor retail and SME sales performance
- Collaborate with retail partners to design, execute, and evaluate effective sales campaigns
- Coordinate closely with Logistics and After-Sales teams to ensure smooth operations related to used units
- Support trade-in and buyback initiatives in coordination with the New Units Sales team
- Drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy, sales processes, and performance management across the team
Experience & skills
- Bachelorβs degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred); MBA is an advantage
- Minimum 3 years of experience in the Commercial Vehicle industry, specifically Heavy Commercial Vehicles and/or construction equipment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully leading sales teams
- Experience within the KSA market is preferred
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and forecasting skills
- Proficiency in SAP, forecasting tools, and KPI tracking systems
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Fluent in English; KSA driving licence preferred
