ByteDance's Global Payments team builds cross-border payment infrastructure for every product across the company, and this role covers the Middle East, Turkey and Africa (META) region within that network. Business development targets in Turkey, KSA, UAE and other GCC countries sit at the heart of the mandate, alongside close coordination with the wider META BD team and other cross functional teams. You'll act as the primary contact point for channel partnership development across the region, working through regulatory and competitive differences market by market. Regional payment strategies get built here too, covering business growth, cost reduction and risk management across the markets in scope. Local teams bring the on the ground context, and this role turns that context into proactive solutions that support growth. HQ teams stay closely involved, since commercial strategy, product development and risk management run through that connection. You're expected to bring payments, e-money or merchant processing experience from a bank, fintech, payment institution, financial regulator or internet company. Industry analysis and Business Intelligence research keep the strategy grounded, feeding back into how partnerships and services get rolled out. Strong connections with local and regional payment providers help this role move quickly across a growing payment network.
