Job description
The SAP EWM Consultant role within a global well-being company operating across retail, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain sectors involves implementing, optimizing, and supporting SAP EWM (SAP Extended Warehouse Management) solutions across large-scale, full-cycle, end-to-end projects. The position requires strong expertise in SAP EWM functionalities and SAP integration with other SAP modules, focusing on designing scalable and efficient solutions for business units. The consultant is responsible for business process definition and business process modelling, gathering and concluding business requirements with stakeholders, and performing data analysis to identify insights and areas of opportunity. The role includes execution of SIT testing (System Integration Testing) and UAT testing (User Acceptance Testing), including defining test cases, reviewing and modifying UAT test scenarios, and facilitating business sign-off. The consultant collaborates with 3rd party vendors, ensuring delivery within defined scope, time, and quality parameters, while also contributing to project management and vendor management activities. Responsibilities extend to development of comprehensive project documentation and delivery of training programs for system users. The consultant works directly with business units on a daily basis and operates within a project team environment to achieve defined operational and project goals, contributing to optimization of warehouse management processes within SAP EWM systems.

Key responsibilities
- Participate in full-cycle, large-scale, end-to-end SAP EWM implementation projects, ensuring all phases from requirement gathering to deployment and support are executed effectively within defined project timelines and scope.
- Design and deliver SAP EWM solutions tailored to business unit requirements by leveraging SAP EWM functionalities and ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules to support warehouse management and logistics operations.
- Define and model business processes by analyzing current workflows, identifying gaps, and translating business needs into structured SAP EWM configurations and scalable technical solutions.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, validate, and finalize business requirements, ensuring alignment between operational needs and SAP EWM system capabilities while driving consensus for solution design.
- Perform detailed data analysis to generate actionable insights, identify operational inefficiencies, and highlight areas of opportunity for process improvement and system optimization within SAP EWM environments.
- Define, develop, and execute SIT (System Integration Testing) test cases, ensuring system components function cohesively and meet integration requirements across SAP modules and related systems.
- Review, modify, and validate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) test scenarios in collaboration with business stakeholders, facilitating testing cycles and securing formal business sign-off for system readiness and deployment.
- Coordinate with 3rd party vendors to manage deliverables, ensuring that all project components are delivered within agreed scope, timelines, and quality standards while maintaining effective vendor management practices.
- Develop comprehensive project documentation including functional specifications, process documentation, testing documentation, and user manuals to support implementation and ongoing system maintenance.
- Prepare and conduct training sessions for system users, ensuring proper understanding of SAP EWM functionalities, business processes, and system usage to support successful adoption and operational efficiency.
- Work directly with business units on a daily basis to monitor system performance, resolve issues, and ensure that defined operational and project goals are consistently achieved within SAP EWM implementations.
- Collaborate within cross-functional project teams to drive successful execution of SAP EWM initiatives, contributing to project management activities and ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
