Job description
Manager - Reservations at Jumeirah The Red Sea responsible for overseeing reservations operations within a luxury hospitality environment under Jumeirah, a global leader in luxury hospitality and member of Dubai Holding operating 29 properties across 11 countries. The role involves overseeing delivery of internal and external service quality and commercial performance in line with Central Reservations KPI objectives, working closely with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue opportunities and reduce operational inefficiencies, attending reservations-related meetings and sharing insights on performance and trends, monitoring automated reservation services to ensure optimal capacity and resolving service degradation issues, monitoring guest complaints and coordinating with relevant departments to implement solutions, planning and scheduling training for new colleagues across the reservations department and hotels, ensuring effective use of PMS systems, supporting revenue optimization strategies, maintaining service quality standards, monitoring reservations performance, and contributing to overall operational excellence. The role also supports commercial objectives, enhances reservation efficiency, drives performance improvement, ensures compliance with hospitality standards, and contributes to revenue growth while maintaining Jumeirah’s distinguished service standards in luxury hospitality operations at Jumeirah The Red Sea located in Umluj, Saudi Arabia.

Key responsibilities
- Oversee delivery of internal and external reservations service quality and commercial performance in line with Central Reservations KPI objectives while ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to hospitality service standards
- Collaborate with hotel reservation teams to maximize revenue opportunities, optimize room inventory, reduce operational inefficiencies, and improve overall reservations performance
- Attend reservations-related meetings, analyze performance metrics, share insights on trends, and provide recommendations to enhance revenue and service delivery
- Monitor automated reservation services, ensure optimal capacity utilization, identify service degradation issues, and implement corrective actions to maintain operational continuity
- Monitor guest complaints related to reservations, coordinate with relevant departments, ensure resolution implementation, and maintain guest satisfaction standards
- Plan, schedule, and oversee training programs for new colleagues within reservations department and hotels to ensure operational readiness and service consistency
- Track reservations performance metrics, evaluate commercial outcomes, and ensure alignment with revenue management objectives and operational targets
- Ensure coordination across departments, maintain service quality standards, and support overall reservations operations to achieve business and revenue objectives
Experience & skills
- Possess Bachelor’s Degree in Hotel Management from an accredited and renowned University with strong understanding of hospitality operations and reservations management
- Demonstrate 6–8 years of experience as Reservations Manager or similar role within hospitality industry with exposure to luxury hospitality operations preferred
- Hold qualification in Revenue Management desirable with knowledge of revenue optimization strategies and reservations performance management
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge of PMS systems including reservations platforms, hotel management systems, and distribution tools
- Exhibit experience in managing reservations teams, coordinating with hotel departments, and supporting revenue generation initiatives
- Demonstrate experience monitoring automated reservation services, capacity management, and reservations performance analytics
- Show ability to manage guest complaints, coordinate resolutions, and maintain service quality standards within hospitality operations
- Demonstrate experience in training coordination, operational planning, performance monitoring, and reservations process optimization within luxury hospitality environment
