Full ownership of the mobile architecture comes with this Senior Flutter Developer role at Mamo, alongside a hand in shaping the wider technical strategy. Payments work sits behind everything the team builds, and this position covers end to end development and release for both iOS and Android apps. You'll design modular components, optimize app performance and scalability, and keep the codebase secure and efficient as it grows. Automated testing infrastructure falls under the role too, built with comprehensive coverage to catch issues before they reach users. Authentication gets handled through mechanisms like OAuth, JWT and Firebase, paired with careful data handling and error management for a smooth experience. API requests need tuning for minimal latency and bandwidth use on mobile devices, since performance shows up fastest on the smaller screen. Collaboration runs close with Product, Design and other engineers, translating ideas into features that create real value for users. You're expected to bring deep knowledge of the Flutter ecosystem, state management techniques, reactive programming and navigation frameworks. Logging, monitoring and APM improvements round out the work, pushing observability forward as the app and its user base grow.
