Job description
Capacity operations for Amazon's AMET region, covering Africa, the Middle East and Turkey, run on accurate data, and this Business Analyst role in the UAE supply chain team supplies it. In line with UAE labour regulations, the position is open to candidates who meet the national criteria. Much of the day goes into writing ETL queries in SQL and Datanet, pulling data from multiple sources into a form leaders can act on. Business problems are traced to their root causes, and forward-looking opportunities are identified from the analysis. New metrics are designed and existing ones improved to support how business processes will run in future. Tools and processes also need adoption by sellers, which the role helps drive. Projects are often long and span multiple teams and locations, so clear communication of complex analysis, verbally and in writing, matters. Expect to bring a Bachelor's degree, working knowledge of SQL/ETL and advanced Excel, with Power BI, Python or Tableau experience preferred.
